Quick answer
Vendor Intelligence / Supply chain risk management is the process of discovering, analysing and monitoring third-party vendors, technologies, services and organisational relationships to understand an organisation's external ecosystem and dependencies.
It supports third-party risk management (TPRM), vendor management and supply chain risk by helping organisations understand who they depend on, what technologies and services are involved, and how those relationships connect across the extended ecosystem.
Vendor intelligence can extend beyond direct third-party relationships to identify fourth-party and nth-party dependencies within the broader supply chain and technology ecosystem.
VendorIntel 360 identifies third-party technologies and services associated with an organisation's digital footprint and provides evidence-backed vendor findings. Vendor profiles can show discovered vendors, categories, evidence citations, assurance signals and relationships within the broader ecosystem.
Evidence means a recorded relationship (disclosed partner, verified corporate link, or supported graph edge) — not a banner ad, job post, or HTML comment.
The authenticated vendor workspace is where supported graphs are reviewed.
Dependencies are identified when the relationship record exists and can be distinguished from casual mentions. Importance is not guessed from how famous a SaaS brand is.
Fourth parties are shown only when the full chain is evidenced: your third party and that party's supplier. A two-node guess is not labelled fourth-party.
Public pages do not invent Nth-party depth to look complete.
Concentration is the share of relationships clustered on one provider or category, and is calculated only when relationship counts exist. Density is not used as a synonym.
Without a denominator of verified vendors, concentration is not displayed as a percentage.
If a verified vendor fails, downstream impact is operational interruption, data handling, and customer-facing trust. Public pages discuss that pattern without attaching it to invented edges.
Risk grades for a looked-up vendor live on Risk Intelligence.
Verify name, domain, and data-processing role for any supplier you already know, then use the authenticated graph for discovery — not the other way around.
Request a detailed audit when fourth-party questions are in-scope and the public record is empty.
Look up the supplier, review the public identity and any grade, then explore the verified vendor network after sign-up if you need graph depth.
Skip to a detailed audit when the business already depends on an undocumented chain.

Go beyond public lookup. Explore deeper Vendor Intelligence, VRM workflows, dependency graphs, and third-party risk monitoring with OrgIntel 360.
